Registrata nella seconda seduta di registrazione per l’LP di debutto di Bowie il 24 Novembre 1966, Did You Ever Have a Dream è uscita solo come lato B quasi un anno dopo come lato B di Love You Till Tuesday, nel luglio 1967. E’ stata poi inserita nella Deram Anthology.
1 Penge è una località che si trova nel Distretto di Bromley a Londra. Bowie si trasferì a Bromley a otto anni e crebbe lì.
