Questo brano segna la prima collaborazione assoluta tra David Bowie e Tony Visconti, uno dei suoi produttori più longevi e amico personale. Fu registrata il 1 settembre 1967.
Tra i musicisti nomi che diverranno celebri più tardi come il chitarrista John McLaughlin (Mahavishnu Orchestra) e il batterista Alan White (Lennon’s Plastic Ono Band e Yes) e il già noto chitarrista Big Jim Sullivan, richiestissimo session man negli anni ’60.
Il brano è stato ripescato da David Bowie più di trent’anni dopo e re-inciso nel 2000 per l’album “Toy”, rimasto nel cassetto fino al 2021 e pubblicato postumo. La nuova versione può essere ascoltata qui.
